Cute Little Ladies

The interesting thing about this shoot was the older one of the two, "G", was the harder one to shoot!  It ended up being torturous and tearful!  She just wasn't in the mood to spend much time taking pictures.  Her mom did say that she fell asleep in the car on the way home.  Little Miss "E", however was pretty happy since she had napped and eaten before and did pretty well.  She will be one in a few weeks and so we decided to break up this shoot into a few segments.  So I wanted to post some of these that turned out so cute!

Just Trying to "Rock The Shot"

So I was perusing some of my favorite photography blogs and noticed a contest for September on one of my favorite blogs, www.rocktheshotforum.com.  The theme of the contest is backlighting and there are some really great shots that have been submitted with some really nice examples.  So I decided to submit one that is in my last post of Karen since I caught some great backlighting.  I love the rim light it giving around her hair and the golden light in the flowers.  This is the first time I've EVER submitted anything....so here goes!

Karen's "post" Senior Pictures

So this little lady actually graduated this past June, but decided to hold off to be photographed until her braces came off.  I think it was worth the wait!  Nice Grill, Karen!  She's off to BYU Idaho on a Music scholarship!  And apparently is an amazing flute player!  Good luck Karen!

The Weight Family

What a gorgeous family!  This is my friend from High School from twenty-something years ago.  She asked if I would take a family portrait before her number three son left on his mission to Argentina.

Cute kids!  I loved shooting them!
Isn't this so cute?  Her cute missionary giving her a big smootch!  I'm very sensitive to boys with their moms, and I just loved this!
It's fun to be with a cute family that interacts so well with each other, not to mention being with such a long-time friend.  Thanks Weight family!!
